A little difficult to construct unless you have a power tool. Honestly the power tool made all the difference. We also used wood glue to hold it together even more which I highly recommend. There was no harm to it after i received it however I believe the table is a soft wood and I don't recommend writing on top of it without something underneath, otherwise you could have indents in your table. It's beautiful though and I've received lots of compliments. It's way nicer to have the ability to face your guests and socialize this way than having half a table against a wall and you conclude eating and face a wall than face your guests. :)

I’m actually enthusiastic about this table. It is very good quality and it is so comfy to sit in. The only thing was that it was a hassle to construct and Personally i think like it’s gapping in a few areas but that might be because I’m not really a craftsman. Besides that, if you devote the work.. this table is sturdy, comfy, and very aesthetically pleasing. A 33. Many thanks Wayfair !

This is absolutely the cutest nook ever! We waited quite a while for this to be restocked but I am so happy that we did!!! It wasn’t too difficult to put together and is quite sturdy.

If this is the style table you are interested in, look no further! I have been searching for two years for a farmhouse style table that was large, a good solid quality but wouldn't break the bank. I found this one online so when I received it, I was amazed with the appearance, quality and size for the purchase price. It is extremely heavy with a good pulley system for the leaf. It is more of a creamy color so don't expect a white colored. It comfortably sits 8 people with the leaf, which is very heavy. I did so have delivery issues with the local shippers who when they finally delivered it, damaged my first table. I contacted them immediately and they took care of reordering a fresh table, that i received within a couple of weeks. This is a table I will have for quite some time!.
